ZINSSER® ALLCOAT EXTERIOR MATT
Developed for the durable decoration of wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete and façade cladding. Self-priming, sanding is unnecessary. Protects dry coating against contamination by mould. ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin is not a rust inhibitive product, apply only on previously protected metal.
RECOMMENDED USE
Developed for all outside surfaces, ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin is ideal for use on wood, plastic, galvanised metal, steel, façade cladding, weathered bitumen, plaster, brick, stone, concrete, and more. ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin can be used as a primer and adheres directly on existing glossy coatings without the need for sanding. A separate primer is unnecessary for most applications. ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin provides superb resistance to cracking, blistering, flaking, rain, and severe weather conditions. Two-layer system: The first layer of ALLCOAT® Exterior Satint works as a primer and seals the surface. The top layer completes the sealing process. Where necessary, apply Zinsser B-I-N® to bleeding knots and resin streaks. For new or unpainted cedar, redwood, or other resinous timbers prime with Zinsser Cover Stain®.
REMARKS
ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin is not recommended for use on floors, terraces, or horizontal surfaces that may be drenched in water or exposed to water for a long period of time. Before applying ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin, we recommend that you thoroughly sand and degrease unweathered/new powder coatings and similar surfaces. Not suitable for application onto newplastisol or a new powder coating. These surfaces must be fully weathered. Not suitable onto PVDF cladding : apply Rust-Oleum PVDF Primer first. ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin has no anti corrosive properties, so apply Zinsser® 1-2-3 on bare ferrous metal surfaces. Onto rusty surfaces, prime with Rust-Oleum® Peganox® or CombiColor® Aqua Primer.
