RECOMMENDED USE The topcoat of the Fast Balcony System system is specifically intended for use on medium to high wear areas on communal balconies and walkways.

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM

• Fast Balcony System Grit Coat in combination with Dacfill Fleece
• Aluminum Oxide Grits
• Fast Balcony System Top Coat

TECHNICAL DATA

• Gloss level at 60º: Gloss
• Gloss level at 85º: Gloss
• Solids content in volume: 85%
• Mixing Ratio: Stir base to even consistency then add one complete unit of activator.Mix well to uniform blend, ensuring base material is worked away from sides and bottom of container.

DRY TIMES BY 20º C/RH 50%

• Touch dry: 1 hour
• Dry to handle: 1,5 hour
• Dry to recoat: min 1,5 hr, max 3 days
• Pot Life: 15 minutes at 20°C

RECOMMENDED WET FILM THICKNESS 170 microons

THEORETICAL CONSUMPTION 4-5m²/liter achieves 170-210 microns dr

PRACTICAL CONSUMPTION Typically 4-6m²/liter. Coverage rate may vary depending on size, type and spreading rate of aluminum oxide grits.

SURFACE PREPARATION Apply the aggregate in thewet paint film

DIRECTIONS FOR USE Temperatures above 25°C and very high humidity will reduce pot life. Application at very low temperatures will significantly retard cure. Do not apply when rain is imminent.

APPLICATION & THINNING: BRUSH Do not thin

APPLICATION & THINNING: ROLLER Apply one coat by roller to give an even spread, ensuring good cover on entire surface. Apply mixed material as soon as possible to maintain workability. Do not thin.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT / SPILLS Thinner 150

REMARKS Do not apply to inadequately prepared or unsound surfaces. This product should only be applied by Rust-Oleum approved contractors (further details on request). Substrates must be dry during application otherwise curing defects will occur.

SHELF LIFE 12 months from date of production in unopened cans. If stored in dry, well ventilated areas, not in direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
