DESCRIPTION RUST-OLEUM®
CombiPrimer Aerosol Anticorrosion 3369/3380 are fast drying primers based on a short oil soya alkyd. The products contain rust-inhibitive pigments and are leadand chromate free.
RECOMMENDED USE RUST-OLEUM
CombiPrimer Aerosol Anti-Corrosion 3369/3380 should be used on new, bare or slightly rusted steel surfaces. RUST-OLEUM CombiPrimer Aerosol Anti-Corrosion 3369/3380 are intended to be applied on small areas or for touch-up. RUST-OLEUM CombiPrimer Aerosol Anti-Corrosion 3369/3380 should be used in light industrial exposures, normal humidity and interior applications and should be recoated with RUSTOLEUM CombiColor Aerosols 7300 Topcoats/Hammered.

PRACTICAL CONSUMPTION
Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove dirt, grease, oil, and all other surface contaminants by Rust-Oleum Alkaline Cleaner/Degreaser ND14. Remove loose rust and loose coatings. Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly. The surface must be clean and dry during application.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Remove cover cap. Shake vigorously for at least one minute after the rattle of mixing ball is heard. Shake frequently during use. Hold can approx. 25 cm from surface. Use back and forth motion keeping can parallel with surface. Ensure that can is in motion when spray button is pressed to avoid runs and sags. Apply several thin layers at a few minutes interval to achieve adequate coating thickness. After use turn can upside down and press spray button for 2 - 3 seconds to clean valve.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
For good results the relative humidity shall be below85% and the temperature of the can and substrate above 0°C.
APPLICATION & THINNING: BRUSH
Up to 10% volume RUST-OLEUM Thinner 7301. Use natural bristles, longhair brushes.
APPLICATION & THINNING: ROLLER
Up to 10% volume RUST-OLEUM Thinner 7301. Use medium nap, 8-12 mm rollers. Roller application may require 2 coats to achieve recommended dry film thickness.
APPLICATION & THINNING: AIR-ATOMISED SPRAY
10-20% volume RUST-OLEUM Thinner 7301. Gravity cup and pressure cup. Tip size: 1.2 - 1.8 mm. Atomizing pressure: 2 - 4 bar
CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT / SPILLS
Use RUST-OLEUM Thinner 7301 or white spirit.
REMARKS
Being lead- and chromate free these products do not evolve the risk of toxic fumes when surfaces coated with these products arewelded at a later date.
