Anti-slip polyurethane-modified floor coating, abrasion resistant and easy to apply.
DESCRIPTION Anti-slip polyurethane-modified floor coating, abrasion resistant and easy to apply. 1K RECOMMENDED USE Floorcoat PU 7200NS can be applied directly on interior or exterior concrete floors (see surface preparation), wooden floors and masonry which are completely clean and dry. It is not recommended to apply on smooth/dense concrete or concrete containing a damp repellent additive, which will prevent a good adhesion. Floorcoat PU (7200NS) can also be applied on old good adhering coatings and can also be applied onto metal floors which have been correctly prepared and primed with a suitable Rust-Oleum metal primer.
TECHNICAL DATA Density (g/cm³): 0,9-1,2 Solids content in volume: 45%
DRY TIMES BY 20º C/RH 50% Touch dry: 4h Dry to handle: 8h Dry to recoat: 24h Fully cured: 1 week
RECOMMENDED WET FILM THICKNESS 110 µm
RECOMMENDED DRY FILM THICKNESS 50 µm
THEORETICAL CONSUMPTION 9 m²/l
PRACTICAL CONSUMPTION Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.
SURFACE PREPARATION Remove oil, grease and other contaminations with Rust-Oleum ND14 Cleaner/Degreaser or high pressure (steam) cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents. Sand old intact coatings to roughen the surface in order to establish a good adhesion. Check the compatibility with old intact coatings. During application the surface should be dry and clean. On porous concrete a first coat should be applied with 7200NS diluted with ± 5% Thinner 633. Ensure concrete is at least 28 days old and moisture content lower than 6%. Remove curing compounds by means of dust free blasting or acid etching with Rust-Oleum SE108.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS Apply in a dry and well-ventilated area. Temperature of air, substrate and coating between 5°C and 30°C and relative humidity lower than 85%. Temperature of substrate must be at least 3°C above dew point.
APPLICATION & THINNING: BRUSH Dilute sparingly, if required, with 5% volume Thinner 633.
