  The KHC 18 offers a wide range of functions, thanks to tool-free chuck replacement. Hammer drills, drill bits and chisels are picked up with the SDS-Plus chuck. The keyless chuck additionally extends the range of possible insertion tools to include, for example, drills with a cylindrical shank, or drills, bits and bit holders with a hex shank.

  The brushless EC-TEC motor is wear-free and converts the energy from the battery into optimum power with virtually no losses.

• Low dust in the system

  Simply combine the KHC 18 with the sophisticated dust extraction device (available as an accessory) and benefit from the entire Festool extraction system. The dust extraction device is simply fixed to the depth stop and connected with the extractor. Bluetooth® battery packs communicate with the Bluetooth® module on the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor (can be retrofitted as an accessory for CT 26/36/48) and automatically start the mobile dust extractor when the cordless tool is switched on.

  The electronic KickbackStop prevents your wrist from twisting dangerously if the drill suddenly becomes caught or jammed, therefore ensuring improved safety when working.
