The ergonomic handle made of multi-chamber PVC profile is impressive, shaped to fit perfectly in the hand's grip. The PVC profile of BAUMIT knives is 20-30% lighter than a similar aluminum one, which contributes to easier work with less fatigue. Unlike aluminum, the PVC profile is a better insulator and does not transfer cold to the hands in winter, and it is also 20% more affordable than its aluminum counterpart.

The sturdy multi-chamber profile has a special groove for quick replacement of individual spare blades. Inserting the blade into the handle is quick and easy, yet firm and stable, so that it cannot detach during operation.

The blades of professional BAUMIT knives are made of triple-hardened stainless steel. This allows their service life to be up to 7 times longer compared to similar knives with rolled steel blades.
