In this article, we show you how to permanently block mold and mildew stains, while achieving a durable decorative coating with a 7-year guarantee against mold and mildew growth, which can be easily washed.
STEPS:
1. Surface preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from anything that would prevent adhesion of the materials to be applied. Remove all peeling areas by scraping or brushing with a stiff-bristled brush to a sound base. Sand the surface with fine abrasive sandpaper. Remove any visible signs of mold and treat the areas with a mold remover or 1:1 bleach and water solution in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Allow to dry. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue. Allow to dry. Fill all cracks and small surface defects with suitable material. Allow to dry. Sand the surface again with fine abrasive sandpaper. Remove all dust.
2. Priming
Prime all stained, bare, and filled areas with one coat of B-I-N® Primer Sealer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Allow a minimum drying time of 45 minutes under normal drying conditions.

3. Painting
Paint with two full coats of Perma-White® Interior Matt and Satin in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Allow a minimum drying time of two hours between coats. This way, your surfaces are protected from mold and mildew growth with a 7-year guarantee.
